Other Cavity Nesting Birds - Brownheaded Nuthatch

These birds prefer a pine tree location and are usually found in pine forest. We have three nest on the trail and nesting material in all boxes is about the same. The material used is Elm tree seed pods and moss.

Chickadee nest with eggs, They are a small bird but nest usually have from 6 to 8 eggs. They normally only nest once a year.
